Terms & Conditions — A Neesh Therapy

Welcome to A Neesh Therapy. These terms are here to help set clear expectations and ensure a safe, respectful, and effective therapeutic space for us to work together.

Commitment to Change

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process that works best when you, the client, are committed and motivated to make positive change. Therapy is not guaranteed. By starting therapy with A Neesh Therapy, you agree to actively engage in the process, including listening to any personalised audio recordings I may provide or any home practice outside of our sessions. These are an important part of your therapeutic journey and can significantly support your progress.

Therapy Sessions

Typically 2 - 3 sessions are most beneficial. Some issues may be resolved in one session, while deeper concerns may benefit from up to three sessions. I’ll offer an estimated number of sessions either at enquiry or during our initial consultation, based on the information you provide. These estimates are always flexible and may evolve as we work together.

Fees & Payment

Fees will be clearly outlined at the end of our initial consultation. Payments must be made 24 hours prior to each session via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session—this can be done by email. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or missed appointments will be charged at the full session rate.

Running Late

Life happens—if you're running late, please let me know as soon as you can. If we need to shorten the session due to lateness, the full session fee still applies.

Medical & Personal Information

Before your first session, you’ll be asked to complete a client intake form. This includes relevant medical history, personal information, and lifestyle factors that may be important for your care. By submitting this form, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.

Confidentiality

All information you share is treated with the utmost care and confidentiality. However, there are a few legal exceptions where confidentiality may need to be broken:

  • If I believe there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others.

  • If there is disclosure of abuse or risk of harm to a child or vulnerable adult.

  • If there is disclosure of any involvement in crime.

  • If I am legally required to disclose information by a court of law. Other than these rare circumstances, your information will never be shared without your written consent.

Professional Boundaries & Safety

Hypnotherapy is not a form of mind control—you are always in charge. My commitment is to treat you with kindness, respect, and professionalism. In return, I ask that you do not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, unless prescribed. Abusive, violent, or unsafe behaviour may result in sessions being cancelled and future therapy being refused.

Therapy Disclaimer

Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical treatment, diagnosis, or professional mental health care. Please consult with your GP before starting therapy if you have any ongoing medical or mental health concerns.

Online Sessions

Online therapy (via Zoom, phone, FaceTime, etc.) is available and referred to as e-therapy. These sessions are subject to the same ethical and confidentiality standards as in-person sessions. You must be over 18, or have written parental consent if under 18, and not be under the influence of substances or experiencing a mental health crisis.

If a session is disrupted by technical difficulties, I’ll do my best to reconnect or reschedule to complete the session. Please make sure your tech setup is secure and reliable.

Using Hypnosis Audio Recordings

Never listen to hypnosis audios while driving or operating machinery. They are designed to be used in a safe, quiet environment where you can relax. These recordings are supportive tools but cannot guarantee outcomes—your commitment is the key to your success.

Legal Stuff

By choosing to work with A Neesh Therapy, you agree that our working relationship is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of these courts.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Please check back if returning to therapy after a break.
